You may not immediately recognize his name or know how to pronounce it (the Germans like to go for the V sound when you see a W) but the gorgeous work of director Wim Wenders will be on showcase in February at UTD Central Trak Gallery. And you might become a fan.
Wenders has a vast list of films he has brought to life including the multi-award winning documentary Buena Vista Social Club, Paris, TX (Sam Shephard screenplay and Cannes Film Fest Palme D’Or winner) and Martin Scorcese produced The Soul of a Man (blues documentary starring T Bone Burnett, Lucinda Williams, Lou Reed and many more).
