President of Deep Ellum Association Interviewed by Fox 4 News

Yesterday was a busy day for the president of the Deep Ellum Association. Aside from the usual tasks of running a business in Deep Ellum, she also had an interview with Scott Sayres of Fox 4 News about the current state of the neighborhood. After getting all of the lighting and equipment set up in the office, the two started the interview. Gianna tended to focus mostly on the strengths of the neighborhood, such as it’s people, art and businesses. She however did not shy away from the topics negatives that need the most attention, namely getting into the neighborhood, loss of music venues (most recently Gypsy), and all around mediocre infrastructure. We will post more information on when the piece will air as we get it.
