It was announced the other day that we would allow all viewers to contribute any pieces that they felt were important to SaveDeepEllum.org, however there are a few technical things that need to be brought up.

• You must create a user account, once the account is created, the next admin to log on will update your status to contributor.
• We reserve the right to edit any pieces that are sent in, this will most likely only be things like spelling or grammar, however we may check facts.
• When you first sign up, go to the menu screen where you can add posts and select the users tab. At the top of the page you will see a checkbox that says “Use Visual Editor,” check the box and save your profile. You can still write in html, but this gives you the option of using a What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) editor.
• We recomend using Mozilla Firefox for writing posts, as using Internet Explorer is putting your PC in serious danger, and Safari doesn’t support the WYSIWYG editor.
• To access the advanced text editor use one of these keyboard shortcuts on the “Write” page
  • Windows Firefox: Alt+Shift+V (Firefox)
  • Windows Internet Explorer: Alt+V (Internet Explorer)
  • Mac OS X Firefox: Ctrl+V
  • Mac OS X Safari: Nothing works, use Firefox, it has better compatibility anyways.
