We have some more DART Gateway news for today. A few weeks ago we posted an article on how local artist Frank Compagna was not chosen for the new DART Gateway project. Frank has been a prominent artist in Deep Ellum for over 20 years and has painted numerous murals around the neighborhood (including our own at Walton & Commerce). Take a look at his qualifications and proposal, and keep in mind that out of several submissions for our neighborhood by local artist, DART chose one from Vancouver, Canada.
