We are proud to announce “Malcolm’s Back Alley Swap Meet“, a collaboration between the Deep Ellum Association, SaveDeepEllum.org and Third World Productions. This will be a regular event on the third Sunday of each month. With the Christmas season coming up, what better way to show your loved ones how much you care than by picking up a pair of Brittany’s Bitchin’ Britches or a one-of-a-kind hat from Hellbilly Deluxe Custom Hats. Other vendors include Custom Art Glass, Three of One Studio, Ultra Violet Realm, Francis Designs, and Tom Spicer’s Farmers Market 1410. Featured artists so far are Tim Carbon, Hiedi Sparks, and local muralist Isaac Brown.
Malcolm’s Back Alley Swap Meet will take place in the covered parking lot behind Cafe Brazil (Elm & Malcolm X). If you want to buy or sell anything you can shoot us an email at swapmeet [at] 3wp.us (sorry about the style on that, but we have been getting hit hard by spam bots and we don’t want them to pick up that email address). The prices for artist that want to sell their work is $20 and it is $50 for traditional vendors.
