Katherine will be enlightening us on what we can do about preserving some of the buildings in Deep Ellum. Union Bankers building is of great concern to us.

We will also go over updates on the Deep Ellum tree lighting ceremony, and of course strategizing on the upcoming City Council hearings.

Minc isn’t normally open on Tuesday, but Julie is showing DEEP some hospitality and opening it for our DEEP meeting. It’s a great place: really cool ambiance and a kick ass patio. Minc just went before the City Plan Commission and they were approved, so we are celebrating that too.

Julie and all the approved businesses still have to go before City Council, so all your favorite Deep Ellum/Expo Park venues still need your suport. We will keep you up to date on that.
