Writer, director, designer, fine artist and photographer, Mark Whiting is best known as the production designer of Warner Bros. animated classic The Iron Giant. His other projects include: Finding Nemo, Angry Beavers, Bobby’s World, Garfield, Duck Dodgers, Project Greenlight and his award-winning film Apple Jack. Mark is currently writing and directing his first feature film Moonshine with Academy Award-winning producer Edward Saxon (Silence of the Lambs).
Alien, Texas is an exhibition of photographs that chronicles Mark’s travels across Texas in the summer of 2007. All photography is limited edition. Only three prints of each are in existence - each numbered and signed by the artist and for sale at the show.
