T. Washington
*The status of other Historic Deep Ellum landmarks such as the successful Artist’s studios at Continental Gin and beloved, voted best live music venue in Dallas - historic Sons of Hermann Hall.
*Options for placing Deep Ellum on the City’s Designation Committee
*General information on the options for Historic overlay, Conservation overlay, Historic Facades, Historic Landmarks and how Deep Ellum could utilize or include historic/conservation policies
*The overall too often unsung, amazing social, cultural and music history of Deep Ellum , rooting back to the Freedman’s town, Leadbelly, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Robert Munger and more and why historic preservation is so very important to this area.
