Just got this email from Tom over at Studio Fling. They are such cool people, and for this party they are moving to a larger space, which I’m sure will come in handy. If your looking for a great way to spend your Friday night, their aren’t many better things out there.
“This is Tom at Studio Fling. I just got home from hanging art for our show tonight, and I am actually appauled by the amount of quality work being practically given away. When we started organizing this show, we did not expect this kind of enthusiastic response from artists to sell their souls so cheap! There are well over 150 original pieces of art priced from $10- $200, some of which I seriously can’t believe. Honestly, for us, this show is an effort to get more people to know about Fling. I have no idea what some of these artists are thinking.
If the 25 artists don’t do it for you….DJ Turntablist, Matt Poston will be entertaining before and after live music sets from Electricbrown, Holy Diver and Victory March.
To accommodate so much art and music, we have rented out a larger venue for the evening. 2647 Commerce St., Dallas Tx. (just a few blocks west of Studio Fling.
This show is completely FREE and fun for all!
We really want to party with you tonight, so tell your friends and come see what we are doing!! You’ll be happy you did.
